fine photography of the maine landscape

Terrell Lester was born in 1948, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He moved to Orlando, Florida in 1959. Terrell worked as a land surveyor and environmental engineering designer until devoting full-time to photography in 1985.

For several years his works were displayed at exhibits throughout Florida. He received many awards for his photographs and they were widely collected.

Terrell moved to Rochester, NY, in 1985 so that he could further his photographic work and artistic studies. That same year he made his first trip to Maine where he began to realize the potential of its landscape and light as themes for his work. He moved to Maine in 1987 to dedicate as much time as possible to this unique subject.
